Cadbury recreated it's iconic cricket advertisement by gender swapping & we are loving it.

You all must have seen both the advertisement till now. Old one was among most loved advertisements in our childhood, atleast for me & the twist is long awaited one, which we have been waiting for since 90s.

In 1993 Cadbury created an iconic advertisement featuring a beautiful girl (Shimona Rashi) wearing a beautiful floral dress siting on the auditorium & anxiously eating a Cadbury dairy milk bar thinking that the ball will get caught on the boundary but her cricketer boyfriend (Arvin Tucker) managed to pull of a six, after this winning she escaped a security guard on the field to celebrate with a cheerful dance expressing her sheer joy & reached her cricketer boyfriend then hugged & shared her Cadbury bite with him while "kuchh khas hain hum sabhi me" song was played in the background".

Now 27 years later that iconic scene is recreated again but with an amazing & long awaited twist which we (netizens) are loving.
This time, it is a women's cricket match in progress that is being observed by a Punjabi guy (Prabhneet Singh) on the auditorium, munching on Dairy Milk. When his cricketer girlfriend (Kavya Ramachandran) scores the winning six, he breaks into a celebratory dance and rushes onto the field to hug her & shares his Cadbury bite with her.

With this gender swap ad we can realise that how much Indian women have progressed now while the emotions of success & victory is as it is (just like before).

Thank you very much Cadbury dairy milk & Ogilvy for recreating this advertisement again with a nice twist.
